This is my Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Gen) wall socket mount. Originally created for installation above kitchen countertops to keep the wire neatly concealed. The design incorporates a discreet cable management system, allowing for support-less printing and minimal post-processing requirements. To assemble this mount, simply print the design, then insert the plug (compatible with both UK and US plugs). Next, feed the cable through the designated management space before clipping in the Echo Dot and securely fastening it to the socket. The cable management area is designed to utilize available space efficiently. To achieve a neat appearance, carefully tuck the cable into this area until snugly in place. When printing this design, remember to use a brim to ensure proper adhesion. The example shown was printed using PETG with a layer height of 0.20mm and 100% infill on a Prusa i3 MK3 printer, taking approximately four hours to complete.
