Echo Dot 2 Stand
thingiverse
This project is a stand with an audio deflector for the Echo Dot 2. It is comprised of two components: an OUTER SHELL with slots for audio output and a power connector opening; and an INNER SHELL, with an integrated cone for redirection of audio. The connection of these components to form the completed unit is accomplished without the use of glue or screws. The OUTER SHELL has 4 channels accessed from its bottom for connection to the INNER SHELL. The INNER SHELL has 4 pegs that travel in the channels during installation. As the INNER SHELL reaches its highest level in the OUTER SHELL, spin the base of the INNER SHELL counter-clock-wise (CCW as viewed from the bottom of the unit) until it stops. The two sections are now secured.Press an Echo Dot 2 into the stand making sure its power supply opening lines up with the opening on the OUTER SHELL. Ensure that the Echo Dot is completely seated into the Echo Dot 2 Stand. The Echo Dot can be easily removed from the stand by pressing on the Echo Dot from the bottom of the stand unit.
