Echo Dot 2 Ceiling and Under-Cabinet Mount

<p>I have a metal tool cabinet in the garage and wanted to mount the old echo dot to the underside of the cabinets. I found a minimalist wall mount on thingiverse and modified to work upside down. </p><p>I added extra “legs” to hold the dot (and kept two small ones so it could be removed, if needed). I also added fixed rafts so that I'd have a larger surface to mount with. I used VHB tape to make the connection permanent and it has lasted in the garage for a month. I will see how it does over the summer in Arizona, but it seems to be working so far (I mounted it for a few days before I added the dot/weight to the mount). </p>
