Echo Button Mount with Lever Arm

Human: Echo Buttons are incredibly useful beyond their gaming capabilities. They can control your environment and make announcements. In one facility serving people with disabilities, echo buttons initiate Amazon Alexa routines that adjust the temperature of a smart oven or alert staff when a client needs help in a bathroom. A design for an Echo Button mount is available on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3440580). We extended the housing for stability and added a lever arm with a fulcrum. The final print consists of five parts: a base that sits on a surface or screws onto a wall, a screw-on retention ring, a lever arm, a small bumper, and two semi-circular posts. The posts can be glued together to form a cylinder or inserted into the arm assembly hole together. They're designed as halves of a cylinder for maximum strength without supports. The bumper should be printed with flexible filament to protect the plastic face. The arm provides a 3.5:1 mechanical advantage, reducing activation force from about 700 grams to 200 grams.
