Echo 2 Tardis Cover - It is bigger on the inside
thingiverse
Update on 12/20/2017: With the unit now fully printed and fitment confirmed, I've moved it from "In Progress" to completed status. Although I aimed to finish before the holidays, I managed to complete it just in time. Update on 12/17/2017: This update focuses on reworking the power/aux access feature. A test print is currently underway. I'd also like to express my gratitude to Jenne for her assistance with test prints during the design process. Major Files Update On 12/16/2017: All files were resized to fit the unit's correct diameter, ensuring a proper fit. The main body was split to accommodate smaller Z-Axis printers' needs. The new Amazon Echo 2 has a less-than-appealing appearance, prompting me to create a house for it that better reflects my personality. I've designed this house to fit the Echo 2 snugly inside while keeping its microphones, speaker holes, function buttons, and top lights fully visible and functional. This design is an updated version of my original Tardis (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1727128), which covered the full-sized Echo. Since I don't own an Echo 2, this design is based on its published dimensions. If any issues arise with fitment, please let me know so I can make necessary adjustments. Until then, this remains a work in progress.
