Echnaton/Krone - Museum August Kestner - 3D Scan
sketchfab
Head of Pharaoh Amenhotep IV./Amenhotep IV. is a statue made of crystalline limestone and crown, possibly created in Hermopolis during the New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty. The head appears to depict the king as a young man. However, if the reported discovery location of Hermopolis is true, it would have to come from his later years of rule. The crown is separately crafted and removable. A 3D scan was created by Formwerk 3D. The original can be seen at any time in the Museum August Kestner Hannover and is definitely worth a visit. Here you can find Amenhotep IV without a crown. If you are also interested in 3D scans or training, please write to us: info@formwerk3d.de We would be happy to advise you! The standing surface of this 3D model is still defective. See for more information also at the other Amenhotep IV model (see above). For more information about the Amenhotep IV bust itself, please contact Dr. Christian E. Loeben at christian.loeben@hannover-stadt.de
