The specimen in question is Echinocorys, measuring 8x7.5x6 centimeters. The fossil is from the Upper Cretaceous period and its exact location is unknown. To recreate this model, a total of 132 photographs were taken using an APS-C reflex camera in a studio setting. Photogrammetry was then employed to construct the digital replica. This project was undertaken by SIGéo, CEREGE, and OSU PYTHEAS in collaboration with Aix-Marseille Université, concluding in June 2018.
