Here are the instructions to create a customized Lithophane image with your choice of picture and settings. Using the Thingiverse Customizer, you can easily change parameters to suit your preferences. Customize: http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=74322 You'll see the options below: Options text_size = 10pt (default) Use a larger or smaller font size for the printed image text. text_vertical_position = center of pane (default) Choose how to align the words relative to the overall print. include_hole = yes (on/off) Include a round hole at the bottom left for attaching to another surface, ideal if printing a signboard on two sides and would be nice when used as a mirror or lithophane panel hanging device or other craft applications! Use it only if absolutely necessary - the hole is relatively deep. text_reverse = no (off) Change to 'yes' for mirroring or rotating each word in relation to your main body. Please ensure proper placement by looking at preview below. layer_height = thin layer (0.1mm thickness) recommended, thicker settings available for very dense pictures and less memory space consumed on printer side as well! hole_diameter = no large opening around edge Use 'no' instead when printing two-sided with normal text and a non-round background like squares - will have holes that cannot overlap each other; otherwise use number depending how many "rings" want show up between individual words. picture_orientation = horizontal Always horizontal, never rotated - always face-up print job even when printing vertical image files (lithophane-style). Keep this option unchanged unless converting something in non-square or square format with unusual aspect ratio such as wide & short landscape or high and narrow portrait mode; it may cause extra complexity within file generation stage resulting subpar prints later down line after sending jobs onto local machines...or worse off totally fail all together once reached beyond limit capacity (i.e more complex designs) while keeping same level overall size limitations across various materials.
