For those in the pipe making hobby this is an invaluable tool. Using a live centre and this collet makes turning tenons on cast vulcanite and acrylic stems accurate and easy. I have based the button location on stems I have worked with. If you don't have a KC15 chuck then adjust the OD to suit whatever chuck you are using.
