eBox Noctua fan mount (rubber isolated)

If you have the misfortune to own an eSun eBox filament dryer*, you'll know that it's blessed with the cheapest, noisiest fan available. The fan noise is amplified by the box's cheap plastic construction, making it easily the loudest part of my printer setup. What I have here is rubber isolated fan housing to suit a Noctua NF-A4x10, with fan guard so the silica gel sachets don't get sucked into the fan. Could you just slot a Noctua fan into the existing fan mount? Yes. Is this complete overkill? Yes. Was I bored with nothing to do? Also yes. Print the fan mount with 100% infill; the extra mass helps cut down the fan noise even further. I used PETG for heat resistance. You'll need to modify the eBox: disassemble, cut out the existing fan mount, and drill holes that line up with the new fan mount. Use the Noctua rubber mounts as shown. The mount bracket should not touch any plastic parts of the eBox, it should be floating on the Noctua rubber mountings. Route the fan cable under the heater plate, and connect to the existing plug using the omni-joiner in the Noctua fan kit. ---------------------- *Good concept, works well, but let down by terrible build quality. If you're thinking about buying one, get the new eBox Lite instead: you lose the ability to weigh your filament rolls, but gain innovations like insulation, a quiet fan, and a heater element that might work for more than a week. Buyer's remorse? Moi?
