eBike Water bottle 18650 case
thingiverse
This project is still in development mode, with a full cover yet to be completed. For now, the retainers serve as temporary solutions. One of my eBike projects currently underway at my workshop involves repurposing scavenged materials. This particular component holds eight 18650 cells, arranged in four banks on each side (two stacked and two below) with connections made on top. The setup produces a voltage just above 15 volts, which suits the motor I'm using. To ensure proper assembly, please align the components symmetrically on both sides. I will not be accountable for any issues arising from incorrect wiring configurations. In this prototype, I've utilized IO shields that have been trimmed down to serve as terminals. While ideal terminal materials would offer better results, they suffice for my testing purposes. If you have suitable material that fits within a spade connector, it would be an optimal choice. The water bottle holder on my bike is spaced 67mm apart, which should enable seamless integration with this component. Notably, the holes were drilled slightly smaller to allow for easy drilling and threading, taking into account screw head size variations.
