ebike battery case
thingiverse
This is my first prototype of a 10SP5 battery case for my e-bike. I did it because I was not satisfied by the ones on thingiverse. The concept is to have two sliding parts so to easy access the battery inside. Battery are held in place with silicone and some kapton tape. BMS is mounted as usual on top of battery strings. Use also soft tape on the wall sides to prevent bumping. Inside, there is a little frame that keeps the Bluetooth pcb apart from battery. I used a 20A BMS with bluetooth app that can lock/unlock voltage so no need of a switch. You can see the BT blue led through the white PLA. This BMS is very nice as in the app you can see actual current drawn, cell voltage, remaining capacity and kms. This is pretty accurate as it uses GPS to correlate kms with your cosumptions. https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.html?spm=a2g0o.9042647.6.2.74d54c4dRsM81H&orderId=3012757144333620&productId=32796315892 My 10SP5 battery is made using original Liitokala 35E 18650 lithium battery 3500mAh 3.7v 25A https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32807017443.html?spm=a2g0o.9042311.0.0.27424c4dTzVRJb This is a bit overengineered but it works for me. As a locking part to the frame, I revisited some good ones on thingiverse. Internal wall, lid, frame mount are all printable laying flat with supports if necessary. The two sliding parts external and internal, must be printed vertically.
