Eazy Fit' Head
thingiverse
The eazy Fit 'is an evolution of the Z122 head to bring the probing sensor 24mm closer to the print nozzle. Guiding is provided by 3 IGUS RJ4JP-01-08 bearings that work together seamlessly. Much attention has been paid to the scalability of this head, making it easy for users to install a capacitive sensor or BLTouch without having to re-print the main body. This also applies to holders of cable chain who can simply print the adaptation piece and get started. The E3DV6 head can be disassembled independently of the rest, and no cabling is needed to mount it - just slide the cables into the side opening of the print head. The mounting of the belt is made easy by holding clips that secure it in place. Summary of functions: - Assembly of the assembly without lag of the existing parts - Quick disassembly of the print head makes maintenance a breeze - Capacitive sensor or BLTouch assembly via adaptation piece is a straightforward process - Assembly of cable holder without having to print the upper cover saves time and effort - Quick assembly of the belt ensures smooth operation Notes: The fan duct incorporating the BLtouch can be printed in a transparent PLA for visibility of the LED status of the sensor. It's perforated, allowing a constant air flow on the electronics of the BLTouch. This head has been printed and tested, with minor issues corrected along the way. Don't hesitate to share any problems you encounter - I'll make the necessary corrections. Assembling videos are coming soon! Marlin is functional on my printer with my configuration (trapezoidal screws, BLTouch), but feel free to adjust it according to your needs. EndStop X is intended for use with Z(x) Z122 trolleys, while in case of original DAGOMAs trolleys, the limit switch will be on the top right screw head of the hotend fan. Routing cables was a breeze, and with common sense, you'll get it done easily! Little mistake in the bill of materials - the screws are CHC M3 and not HM3. Edit V1.1: Igus Bearings are now clipsed in the MainBody, and minor modifications have been made to the air ducts. Edit V1.2 (27/08/2018): A minor misalignment without any impact on functioning has been discovered in the initial conception - it's now corrected. The Eazy_Top part has been simplified for easier printing, and an additionnal part Eazy-ContactX has been added for X sensor detection.
