EasyThreed X1 / LABISTS X1 / SONDORY PICO Spool holder
thingiverse
This holder is a reworked version of Nerys' original design, adapted for printing on an X1 printer with its size restrictions in mind. To print this holder, you'll need to split it into two separate parts and then assemble them together. A July 19th update has improved the coupling between the holder and the printer. Here are the settings I typically use: - Layer thickness: 0.2mm - Infill density: Grid 20% - Printing speed: 35mm/s For optimal results, consider using a 100% infill density for the first 8mm of the HolderPart1.stl in Cura. To ensure a secure attachment between the holder and the printer, you can use nuts and bolts as shown in the image or two printed pins from this upload. If opting for the pins, print them with these settings: - Layer thickness: 0.1mm - Infill density: Grid 100% - Printing speed: 20mm/s Applying a layer of teflon tape to the rod provides a dry lubricant that enhances performance.
