Easythreed K7 Laser Engraver

Included with this Thing are all the parts required to turn the Easythreed K7 into a surprisingly capable laser engraver. The parts included are as follows; K7 Laser Carriage - This part replaces the original hotend. The bearings are held tight with 4 x 4mm wide cable ties. You can attach a Neje 30/40w laser to this carriage or check out the included K7 Generic Laser Mount part to see if it fits your laser module. K7 Frame Brace - The K7 isn't the sturdiest of printers. Removing the bottom plate and printing this part twice will allow you to strengthen the structure by sliding a piece of 2040 extrusion underneath. Optional, but highly recommended. k7 Laser Platform - Once you have a laser module attached you'll notice it's actually sticking out a lot more then usual. This larger platform replacement fixes this issue. Print this part with no top and bottom, 40% infill and 5 perimeters to get a grid-like result that's also very strong. K7 Platform Clamp - I designed a couple of clamps to go with the new platform. They attach with M4 bolts. K7 X Motor Cover - Provides a nice flat surface to stick your laser drive board onto. K7 Z Endstop - Clips onto the 6mm rod, then stick the other part onto the X axis and use a M4 bolt to finetune the height. (Though you can also just slide the module up and down if desired) I use double sided adhesive to ensure the bolt holder doesn't move. (That 3M stuff is fantastic) As for the software part... I ended up going with a simple RAMPS 1.4 setup. If you wish to mess around with the original board, https://github.com/schmttc/EasyThreeD-K7-STM32 has got you covered there. Have fun!
