# What is this These are fan mounts for Easythreed k7 3d printer. Should also work on other models, as they seem to use the same print head casing. # Fan Both assemblies are designed for a specific fan, specification and known data are listed bellow. The fan cost me like $3 in polish currency. I had to lenghten the cables and switch cables on the connector (they are easily removable with small flat screwdriver). After this modifications it can be directly plugged into the motherboard to the 5v port/connector. **Fan data** Related to/as: 5015 5v turbine Producer's code: 07925 Size: Approx. 50x50x15mm/1.97x1.97x0.59inch Air Inlet Size: 31mm Exit size: 20*15mm Current: 0.18A Noise: 25dBA Speed: 7000r/min From my measuring, spacing of mounting holes is approx 57mm. Picture of the fan is attached. # Parallel mount Allows to mount fan on the print head assembly parallelly. Snaps directly onto the print head casing. Fan can be slided onto to the rails and secured by melting the ends of the rails with hot flat object. Additional difusor needs to glued onto fan tip (super-glue should do). # Transverse mount Allows to mount fan on the print head assembly transversely. Fan mounts the same way as to Parallel assemly. No additional attachments are needed. Fan nozzle should point at the printer nozzle. # Additional info Default fan speed might be too high and warp your prints. I added potentiometer to act as a variable resistor, this allows to slightly controll fan speed. I drilled the hole in the bottom case, mounted the resistor and soldered it between splitted VCC lines of the fan.
