EasyGrip Lever - Effortless Door Opening Lever
thingiverse
Ever had your hands full or dirty and struggled to open a door? The EasyGrip Lever is here to lend a hand. Simply install it on your doorknob, and you can effortlessly use your elbow to open the door. This is especially handy for those stubborn old doorknobs. There are two versions available - v1 (depicted in the photos) is thicker and longer, using a bit more material. While I've also printed v2 for a friend, I haven't captured a photo of it yet. Both versions are designed for 54mm knobs, though v2 has a 1mm larger diameter. I've found adding a layer or two of quality electric tape around the rim provides better friction on the knob.If your door knob isn't 54mm in diameter, simply adjust the x-y-z scaling in your slicer. You'll only need one M3 screw, and the hole should fit snugly without the need for a heat set. These models are easy to print without support. Filament I used was Kexcelled ABS K5P CHAMPAIGN GOLD.
