The EasyExDrive is a robust drivebase concept designed for the FIRST Robotics Competition, constructed from 30mm and 20mm extrusion that accommodates any 6'' wheel with a 1/2'' hex bore. It boasts a bumper mounting rail/handle, ensuring effortless machinability and modularity. Had the 2020 season not been abruptly cancelled, FRC Team 6929 Cuivre & Or would have utilized this innovative drivebase concept during Infinite Recharge. Engineered to be highly durable, it utilizes 3/16" aluminum plate (polycarb alternatives can also be employed in specific situations) and M5, M6, M8, and 10-32 fasteners. This marks the initial phase of a comprehensive base design, with further iterations and refinements yet to come. V2 revisions streamlined the manufacturing process, prioritizing ease of prototyping for Team #6929 Cuivre & Or.
