Easy Universal Z-Braces for CR-10 / S / S4 / S5 | M8 threaded rod remix

thingiverse

This is a custom creation based on the listed Z-Braces that I designed to utilize materials I already had at home. The key difference between this version and the original is that it's engineered to use M8 rods accompanied by M8 nuts, rather than M10 ones, and M3 screws paired with M3 nuts in the top bracket section, instead of M4 ones. ##### What you'll need to build this custom design: * 2x 60cm M8 threaded rods * 4x M3x10 screws * 2x M3x15 screws * 2x M5x12 screws * 4x M3 T-slot nuts * 8x M8 nuts * 2x M3 nuts It's recommended to have metal T-slot nuts on hand, but if they're not readily available, you can print your own. I used a design that can be found online ([here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2469130)). You'll need an additional 4 M3 nuts for this purpose. I haven't tested these braces yet due to my ongoing enclosure upgrade, but I don't foresee any negative impacts from the modifications made. #### For a detailed understanding of this custom design, please refer to the original project description.
