Easy to remove from heated platform
thingiverse
Effortlessly remove your printed models from the heated platform by utilizing this simple technique. By implementing this method, there's no need to wait for the platform to cool down or resort to brute force when removing the model. To do so, cut a 10cm x 10cm stainless plate (0.1mm thick) and cover it with a Kapton sheet, sanded down with 220 grit sandpaper. Attach the covered plate to the heated platform using clips and print your models as usual. After completion, simply remove the models by bending the stainless plate slightly. Note that for a flat surface without screw head bumps, use a flat top bolt instead of a hexagonal head bolt. If you're using a Makerbot version of the heated platform, trim the steel plate around the bolt position to attach it properly.
