Watch this video for more information about this model: https://youtu.be/hOwLgcKgQb8 Today, I'm sharing a 3D printable Bob-omb from the Mario universe. Designed to be easy to print, it prints in one piece with no supports required. The design is completely scalable, allowing you to go as big or small as your printer will allow. I printed this model on my Robo 3D R1 printer using Hatchbox White PLA at a speed of 50mm/sec. It took about 9 hours to print at a layer height of 0.3mm, and it used up approximately 220g of filament at the size I printed it. Post-processing steps include: Step 1: Sand any rough spots to your liking. Step 2: Prime it with plastic primer, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying another. Step 3: Paint everything but the body - my wife used an airbrush for this task. Step 4: Mask off the painted areas, leaving only the main body unpainted. Step 5: Paint the main body using black spray paint. Step 6: Once dry, apply a glossy finish to achieve the nice shiny look. Print settings: Layer Height: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Supports: None required Raft: Disabled
