How to Hand-Wire Your Keyboard To hand-wire your keyboard, watch this video: https://youtu.be/LVzpsjFWPP4 A 3D printable keyboard case based on the WhiteFox layout, which I designed, is perfect for a fun hand-wiring project. This model is split into five main pieces, making it easy to print on any consumer-grade 3D printer. The keyboard case is compatible with any Cherry-like switch and Costar stabilizers. The USB port is designed for the Teensy 3 controller board and requires 2.5mm threaded inserts. Due to the elephant foot effect, the switch holes are slightly tight at 14mm. To compensate, you can adjust your slicer or sand the holes like I did. Remember to sand along the ridge where your palm rests, as it can be unpleasant if too sharp. This keyboard case is available for free on Onshape: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/2310f3676d78ea2e7496fb21/w/05bdba880cfe5e65bb1d3b86/e/95f21be7fd0fd4c7bc4e9a2f. Feel free to get creative and start hand-wiring your keyboard!
