Easy to build Twin Motor RC Plane!
thingiverse
Hey!I was asked to publish this and... Why not, a first is a first!I fly this plane with a 3s 1300 but I think the battery can be a lot bigger. It flys really slow, really fast and is quite nimble when Tailheavy and unreal stable when noseheavy. Also mine has a 3 to 1 Thrust to Weight ratio wich gives it a lot of punch on takeoff and makes me think about making it a launchable tailsitter... It can to most 3d stuff like hovers and... how all of thats called anyway xDAnyhow; Here are the parts I useServos: 3x 9gWing: Spare Aeroscout wingFuselage: 6mm depron (bottom and sides) and 3mm depron (Top), 1000x8x8mm Carbon square, cut to 80 cm.Flight controller: speedybee f405 wing (not nessecaryReciever: berafpv Nano rx (doesnt matter)GPS: HGLRC M100Motors: 2x 2207s 1600kvEsc: 2x 3s 30A quad esc's (no BEC)A little bit of wire for the Tail controllsA bit of tape for the Wing to boom mount because it has a 10mm holeAeroscout wing screws, dont loose them -_-Press fit melt in thing for Motormountshttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:663593 This slider to mount FCIts a nice plane to build for a first flight controller/FPV plane because its cheap, durable, easy to build, stable and slow flying and most importantly easy to repair plane. Ive had 2 hard crashes (both technical failures) and all I had to do was replacing the structure holders as theyre the weak point and just break, everything else was fine!I hope everyone building this has fun!Writing this I have my fair doubts but like, if you happen to have a beat up Aeroscout this is just perfect!Or make your own design :DOhh yeah, if you have a well calibrated printer with low tolerences you can safe time and print the Motor mount with spelling mistake. If not, use the one without and the part called "Inlet" the "inlet" has to be screwed onto the motor and screwed with a melting press fit thing into the Motor mount. To mount the wing, Drill a hole 26.5cm away from the front of the Carbon rod and put the rear middle screw of the wing there to secure it.Ive added a photo of my plane after its maiden (landing on ice, NICE) and with the new Tail
