Easy Scribing Tool

I needed a scribing tool on the last set of shelves, so I created this one before finishing the next set going in. This simple scribing tool has two ends to help scribe various surfaces: + The ball bearing end is designed for flatter, less detailed surfaces. It requires an 8x19x7mm or 8x22x7mm bearing, which needs a bit of force to install on. I've printed four of these without any issues with it breaking. + The pointed end is made for more detailed surfaces like stone, brick, or trim. It fits most common #2 or color pencils you'd find around your house. I chose to print the scribing tool in HTPLA or PETG. The pencil holder on the inside of the tool is printed in TPU. The TPU allows enough flex so that when the pencil is inserted, it semi-locks both the pencil and holder in place. It's not perfect but gets the job done.
