New easy release X-axis carriage is designed for Prusa-style machines, with 45mm spacing that allows main body maintenance while keeping the base plate attached to the machine. This carriage features mounting for BLTouch sensors, which are offset by 35mm in the X-axis and 0mm in the Y-axis. This design accommodates genuine E3D Titan Direct Drive motors and V6 hotends, utilizing a 40mm fan for cooling the V6 and a 60mm fan for part cooling. For optimal performance, we recommend using a silicone sock to prevent melting of the part cooling duct. If you experience filament jams or cooling issues, consider using two non-fan brackets and the E3D standard fan shroud. We've had success with this design, using a Noctua 12V 40mm fan for hotend cooling. However, results may vary depending on temperature settings and retract settings. Nuts require heating and press-fitting into place to ensure secure positioning. This solution is not perfect but works well for our workflow.
