Easy-Print Respirator Face Cup (no supports)
thingiverse
I wanted to craft a simple-to-print filter mask for use with N95 sheets, vacuum bags or blue shop towels. I aimed for one design element that would allow it to be easily heat-shaped with hot water. Unplanned, but I lost cooling on my CR-10, yet it still managed to print well in PETG. This is the result of the cup design after 7+ iterations. It prints without supports and no rafts are needed. The print took about 3 hours at 1800mm/s with a layer height of .2mm. Print the front side down. I am still working on the filter cartridge part. Due to the nature of FDM printing, masks like these are not airtight without post-processing.
