Easy Print Drag chain.

Easy Print Drag chain.

This is my top pick for a drag chain model because it doesn't have any bridging or supports, and it always prints perfectly with good clearances for motion. So I designed some end mounts. I tried to match them to the hole spacing on this Amazon chain here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0WRHUN/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?creativeASIN=B01M0WRHUN&linkCode=w61&imprToken=V9r-1MxwMhgRraGkRNxsTA&slotNum=0&ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=tv-auto-20 Which has two holes about 9.3mm apart. (I figured this out from other parts made to mount this chain.) I sized the holes for M3 button head screws, and on my test print they fit great. Ends also feature zip tie lugs for securing wires. No supports needed, as the arch of the lug bridges itself fine. The top and bottom link parts are taken directly from stevenfayer's files, with no changes whatsoever. I've printed these parts to test, and they work well. I'll snap a picture of the real parts and upload it in the morning. 02/02 - I added 90° variants of inner and outer parts. Also, I included copies of all ends without holes. Holes can be easily added by uploading the STL into TinkerCAD (www.tinkercad.com) and placing them where you want. 02/03 - I added covered chain ends and covers that can accommodate up to a 1" hole if the rear edge of the chain end is on the edge of the hole. It slides on from the rear of the chain end and attaches to the surface with two screws (M3 or #4). The cover may be able to be printed laying on its back, but the curve will probably have an ugly spot where the angle is low and the latches on the front end won't be as strong. Best strength for these types of parts comes from layer lines running perpendicular to the strain. I've included a Cover_X2 part, which is two covers standing on end with a 0.2mm space between them. As long as your slicer doesn't try to "Repair" the part by filling this space in, they should pull apart from one another.
