Easy-Print Apple TV Remote Case 4K 2021

I wanted to make an easy to print version of a case for my Apple TV in TPU. I also wanted to avoid the Z seam and make it as clean and smooth as possible. TPU is a bit tricky to get it to look clean so I wanted to make something I could print in vase mode. It’s not super fancy and I couldn’t print the case to fill in the curve on the bottom of the remote but overall, the fitment is pretty good. It is shorter in length so that it’s a tight fit and holds itself onto the remote. There is a tiny rim on the top of the case so that it doesn’t slip off. Due to the way I wanted this printed it does not have holes for the charger port or the IR in the front of the remote. My setup apparently doesn’t need the IR as it still works with the case on. I can still turn everything on/off and adjust the volume so I think the Apple TV must be controlling all that through HDMI CEC. This is designed to be printed in vase mode so only the outer perimeter and bottom is printed. It is important to set your line width to 1.2mm otherwise the case will be too loose. I only had a 0.4mm nozzle on hand but the over extrusion still turned out great. I would be able to print this faster if i had a larger nozzle but for a quick easy print solution I’m happy with it. Print time was about 35 minutes. Set your bottom layer count to 3 and top layer count to 0 For this i used Overture TPU 0.4mm nozzle 1.2mm line width 0.2mm layer height 235C Extruder 10mm/s speed
