I often get frustrated when printing vehicles due to subpar print quality and excessive cleaning work. To overcome these issues, I've started breaking down large objects into manageable parts. My primary focus is on achieving superior print quality while minimizing or eliminating support structures altogether. Once printed, the individual components need to be carefully assembled using a strong adhesive. As I continue experimenting with this approach, I'm pleased with the results and eager to share my findings with others. To make things easier for users seeking high-quality prints, I'll be publishing the print files for all interested parties. I'd like to extend my gratitude to the original designers of these models. Their contributions are invaluable to our community, and I've only built upon their work by dividing their creations into separate pieces - no changes beyond that were made. This time around, I've tackled the SU-76i model. After splitting it into multiple sections, I've also refined some areas to enhance overall realism. Notably, I've added more detail to the tracks and slimmed down the gun barrel for a more authentic look. The included STL files are scaled to 1/100 for precise printing. To achieve optimal results, print only the upper hull (file A) with support enabled.
