This fan duct design is for an Ultimaker and incorporates a 40mm fan. It addresses limitations in other designs by accommodating thicker fans without interfering with the X carriage block during homing. The design features a 360-degree duct around the nozzle, preventing excessive cooling of the nozzle itself. Easy to print with no overhangs, it is also structurally robust to prevent sagging and includes ziptie hooks for motor support. Print vertically with the fan flange flat on the bed and assemble using M3 screws and bolts. Secure the duct with zip ties, ensuring proper leveling for optimal cooling performance.
