I kept running into issues with using dot-to-dot measurements for adding seam allowance or measuring leather strips, and despite my best efforts, a large ruler could easily slip out of place and ruin an otherwise precise line. So I designed these centimeter sticks that don't require dots, making it easy to draw a perfect 1cm or 3cm measurement from a straight edge with ease. Simply place the stick at a straight edge and draw along its groove, ensuring your line extends all the way to the furthest edge away from where you're measuring. To use these centimeter sticks effectively: 1. Place the stick firmly on a straight edge 2. Angle your marker or pencil away from the straight line 3. Draw a continuous line that extends to the edge of the drawing groove This simple technique lets you draw precise lines in seconds, every time - without any room for error. The stick may be a bit unstable at its current length, but this can be fixed by shortening or lengthening it, or simply holding your fingers at its center when drawing to eliminate any wobbliness.
