Hello all! I'm excited to share my Easy-to-Print, Easy-to-Mount, and Easy-to-Refill paper towel holder design. This innovative solution is perfect for anyone looking to keep their desk organized and clutter-free. The design is specifically created to be hung from a wall using "3M Medium Command Strips," which can be found on Amazon at https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B008DCWJPG. Each side of the holder can be printed as a single piece, and the hinge should work seamlessly off the print bed. The tolerances are quite forgiving, so I've included a test hinge for you to try first. Please note that this print will only work when attached to a vertical surface (wall) and may not function properly in any other orientation without modification of the design. Additional Details: I created this design because I was looking for an easy way to keep my roll of paper towels off my desk, but couldn't find anything that met my needs exactly. Specifically, I wanted a few key features: 1. A fold-down hook design for easy replacement and refill, which I found in a toilet paper holder design online. 2. An easy-to-print solution with no assembly required or supports to deal with - a lot of work! 3. A design that wouldn't look terrible, as it will be hanging in plain sight on my wall. I aimed for a more premium look and feel. 4. A mount that didn't require screws, which was a curiosity-driven experiment to see if it would work. I had some spare 3M command strips left over, so I gave it a try - and it works! I hope you enjoy using this design!
