Easy Multi-functional Prusa
pinshape
This printer is still firmly rooted in the experimental phase, with Multi-Media Prusa on track to potentially bring 3D printing, PCB board creation, and Frostrude capabilities into its repertoire. A notable update came on September 19, 2017, with the addition of an updated Y Carriage and Y Endstop. Two days later, E3D_Mount was introduced, although it remains untested. The Wade Extruder mount is set to receive an upgrade soon. On October 1, 2017, further updates were implemented, including E3D with Capacitive and/or Inductive mounts, as well as the addition of an X-carriage endstop sensor. The BOM was relocated to each assembly video on October 2, 2017, accompanied by the addition of a Generic front for x Carriage, applicable to both E3d and Paste extruders. The community is directed to https://www.thingiverse.com/th... for further information. This project remains under active development and is anticipated to soon feature a Z sensor. Subsequent updates include the removal of x-Idler.stl on October 3, 2017, replaced by two versions: X_Idler_5mm.stl and X_Idler_3mm.stl. The X and Y belt clasp were also updated during this period. An Arduino RAMPS 1.4 board holder was added on October 7, along with a ZX Carriage Video. Wiring capacitive and inductive sensors received video tutorials on October 9. EndStopV2.stl was introduced on October 14, offering the flexibility to be used for any axis. A note is provided regarding the use of non-conductive tape or bolts to cover pins safely by 2020. On October 16, a T8 Idler attachment (Z_T8_Holder.stl) was added, with potential future removal of M8 idler in favor of this updated component. The X-Carriage attachment for E3D was removed on October 21 and replaced with an Updated E3D featuring side mounts that can accommodate either a 40 mm fan or Inductive and Capacitive sensor(s). RAMPS 1.4 tutorials were added on October 23, followed by a RAMPS 1.4 LCD tutorial on October 30. A final version of the printer is expected to be released in the next couple of days. Print settings for this printer include: - Rafts: Yes - Supports: Yes - Resolution: .2 - Infill: .2 The Y_Motor_Mount.stl component requires rafts. Custom sections are available, including a Printer Base, Z Axis Assembly Part 1, wiring capacitive sensor, wiring inductive sensor, RAMPS 1.4 Tutorial, and Adding RAMPS 1.4 Endstop switches. Video tutorials offer additional guidance.
