On YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYS_AR4cvTw This is the second version of my easy filament roller, designed with deeper grooves to address a common problem where the spool could fall off if pulled at an angle instead of straight forward. I highly recommend adding rubber feet or a similar non-slip solution to the bottom so it doesn't slide around on your desk. The idea for this roller with no moving parts came after observing a typical roller that had too much friction, causing it to sometimes struggle to spin. However, it still managed to work effectively. This roller takes advantage of the relatively low coefficient of friction of printed PLA in an effort to be as simple and efficient as possible. It should fit a wide range of different spool sizes with no modification required. Print Settings: Printer: Kerrby Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20% is fine Notes: Printing it on its side or printing it upright will work just fine.
