**Easy Can Opener Extension - Assistive Device** *Note: Compatible with Swing-A-Way can openers only* This Can Opener Extension is a snap-fit can opener extension aid for Swing-A-Way can openers. A 75mm extension arm paired with ergonomic knob options, connected by a single 60002RS sealed bearing, allow use of the opener with much less effort. The Can Opener Extension has a snap-fit mount, making it easy to attach and remove for cleaning and storage. *Hardware* 1. M3x6 Socket Head Cap Screws QTY: 2 2. M3 Nut QTY: 2 3. 60002RS Sealed Bearings or Equivalent **Assembly Instructions** 1. Installing Bearing - Press fit (#3) 60002RS bearing fully into knob - Press fit knob/bearing assembly onto spindle of Extension Arm.stl *Note: Depending on your printers tolerance, you will need to add a non-expanding adhesive around spindle to secure the bearing. If you must use this take necessary precautions and DO NOT use until adhesives have fully set.* 2. Attach Mount - Take Open Mount v2.stl and use one of the M3x6 screws to press/pull in both M3 nuts. - Place the pre-assembled Extension Arm.stl into position on Open Mount v2.stl, with the arrow facing towards the knob, and fasten down with the 2 M3x6 socket head cap screws. 3. Install Can Opener Extension - Snap in the Swing-A-Way knob into Open Mount v2.stl one side at a time starting with the side marked with the arrow. - While securely holding the arrow marked side of the mount, firmly press the extension knob until the assembly snaps into place.
