Easy Breech
thingiverse
Hi guys, I came up with an easy fix for Nerf Longshot which needs just a 9/16 brass and a small O-ring. Instructions: 1. Print 2. Cut a quarter pipe 9/16 brass (CHECK OUT THE PICTURES ABOVE) 3. Heat up the brass dart guide for 50 seconds 4. Quickly and carefully slide the thin brass into the breech. (CHECK OUT THE PICTURES ABOVE) 5. Test fit and make sure it's smooth. (IT MAY TAKE SOME PATIENCE.) 6. Slip on the small O-ring onto the groove of the pusher 7. Test seal. Important note: When loading this breech to your slicer, turn on X-ray mode to find where the slot/hole is that allows the thin cutted brass to slide in. Remember, the thin cutted brass is your dart guide and be very gentle with it. While inserting the thin brass into the breech, make sure it's super hot until there's no friction. Once it's inside the breech, let the brass cool down until it's cold, then carefully pull out. Don't bend the brass. This breech should improve feeding while still having a great seal, so it doesn't require lots of brass and works less than an hour after printing the parts out. I installed it on my LS but didn't have time to test it fully, but the concept and structure work, so I hope you guys can help me make it better. Please feel free to ask questions. I added some pictures for reference.
