Easy breadboard wire cutter
thingiverse
This tool lets you cut solid wire to precise lengths needed for a specific journey on a breadboard. Simply line the wire up with your desired distance, snip, strip 0.25" from each end (e.g., using an IRWIN VISE-GRIP self-adjusting stripper), and fold down the ends. To assemble, print the tool and attach it to a Morris model 54414 wire cutter using one M3 x 10mm screw and one M3 nut to the existing hole. Print the label PDF. To secure, either print on label paper or apply thin double-sided tape before cutting. Optionally, cover the label with clear packing tape before cutting to protect it. Cut along the guides and attach the label to the tool as shown. Use this tool to cut 22AWG solid wire like Elenco's hook-up colors dispenser WK-106 and you're ready for breadboard wire tasks.
