MAJ: Check out the new version for a better tension type clamp. Please, take a look at the updated version with improved clips here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4078758 MAJ: Added the .step file to customize if needed the components. MAJ 10.08.19: -Added tape guides for isoplanes tables or 38mm thick boards -Added 3 types of clips for maintenance for 3 types of Led tapes and the .step file -Changed the Block Cache with a slightly taller height to allow for thicker cables to pass through -Added the .step file to customize the clips to maintain the tape Arche lumineuse for office. Less restrictive and faster to set up than a full 3D print. Just print the supports for the desk. Arche made with a 30mm x 3mm x 214mm (260mm shortened) PVC plate. Total printing time in 0.2mm layer height, at 50mm/s speed: approximately 4h30 minutes against approximately 50-60 hours for the other, smaller one. PS: Possibility of making an arch with a shorter or longer span. -The "block cache" serves to close the hole allowing the Led tape to pass while leaving the thinner power cable free. -The "Raccord rubanX2" is used to extend the total reach by joining two PVC plates of the same dimension (30mm wide and 3mm thick). I made this connection but didn't need it so I don't know if it's functional. It should be. -For the thickness, for placing the supports, it's intended for boards or desks with a standard 18mm overhang. The flexibility of the PVC plate mechanically clamps the supports on the edges (cf. photo). -The use of clips to maintain Led tapes is intended to avoid gluing or for mounting and dismounting. Otherwise, the clips allow for correct centering of the tape in the middle of the plate. For the prints themselves, you will need: 1 Tape Guide (supports: yes) 1 Full Tape Guide (supports: no) 1 Block Cache (supports: yes) (Optional: -Raccord rubanX2 as needed -Clips to maintain Led tapes plan for approximately 1 clip every 10cm) That's it. Outside of 3D printing: PVC plate 30mm wide and 3mm thick, and Led tape (minimum 5050 with 60 led/meter at white light for good lighting). And double-sided tape if not desired to print the clips or for aesthetics without clips. According to need. PS: Advice when setting up: place the double-sided tape on the PVC plate before placing it in the supports on the desk, then once placed, glue the Led tape inside the tape to avoid the opposite work of flexion at the arch by the Led tape.
