Easy Adjust Z Stop

Easy Adjust Z Stop

thingiverse

Enhance your RepRapPro Huxley's Z stop ease and accuracy with this simple bracket, fitting an M3 screw for effortless height adjustments via a screwdriver. Compatible with various machines, it's attached to the X idler using glue. The design is derived from Josef Prusa's Endstop holder, while the OpenSCAD file allows further customization. Print the z-endstop-holder_modified and easy_adjust_z_stop files. Secure the former to the Huxley's smooth rod with M3 screws, washers, and bolts, then attach the z stop switch. Insert an M3 bolt into the latter, followed by a washer, spring, another washer, and secure it with glue on the x idler housing. Cut a retractable ballpoint pen's spring in half for use. Rotate the z-endstop-holder_modified to position the switch arm beneath the screw end. Adjust the screw height and easy_adjust_z_stop travel. Finally, fasten the easy_adjust_z_stop using its screws and bolts on the smooth rod.
