Easy 9g Aileron Servo Mount/covers
thingiverse
I got the idea from "Servo Protectors for ParkZone Radian Pro" by clough42, published September 29, 2014. However, their design was quite large. I reduced its size and added a flat mounting surface for the 9g servo. To secure the assembly in your wing, use good servo mounting tape to mount the servo where you need it. Then, fasten the assembly into place with four #2 or 3mm screws. This makes changing or accessing the servo much simpler and provides a fairing for the linkage. I've seen other 9g servo mounts here before, but they require more printing, don't provide a fairing, and are heavier. Thanks again to clough42. The file attached is designed for the right aileron. To print the left one, simply flip it on the X-axis in your slicer program before printing. Cura handles this nicely.
