This remarkable specimen, preserved in fluid and stored at the Louisiana State Museum of Natural History as LSUMZ Herps 84573, offers a unique opportunity to explore the intricate anatomy of the forelimb. Jaimi Gray's captivating scene showcases the carefully colored elements, painstakingly repositioned and rendered using advanced software. The CT scan data was expertly segmented and mesh files created using Avizo version 2019.2, while Blender and Meshlab were used to finalize the stunning visual representation. The oVert team is grateful for the collaboration with Louisiana State University & Agricultural and Mechanical College, which provided access to this valuable data collection.
