Easiest BLTouch Mount
thingiverse
This is a straightforward BLTouch mount that relies on 3M VHB tape for secure mounting - merely select a spot, utilize the gauge to determine the precise position above the nozzle, and stick it firmly in place. Make sure to scuff both the part and the surface you intend to adhere it to - once attached with VHB, it won't budge, so get it right on your first try or face the hassle of cutting it off and starting over. To accurately use the gauge, position it on the build surface and gently lower the nozzle until it just touches the top of the long end of the gauge. Then, place the BLTouch probe in the hole at the other end of the gauge, ensuring the plastic body of the BLTouch rests securely on the gauge - this positions the BLTouch precisely at the correct height above the nozzle. For optimal results, I employed 0.5mm x 20mm 3M VHB tape, cutting a piece to fully cover the reverse side of the mount and adhering it firmly in place. When ready to attach, carefully expose the second layer of adhesive. It's essential to mount the BLTouch as close to perpendicular as possible for smooth operation - a small spirit level tube comes in handy for this task. To assemble the mount, you'll need two M3 heat-set inserts, 2 washers, and two M3 12mm screws to securely fasten the BLTouch to the mount.
