Easier Tardis with Drawers
thingiverse
This revised version of MakeALot's design, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:35167, is simpler to print. Utilize tardis_with_drawers-flat_back.stl file for the main body instead of Main_Body_for_Thinner_Drawers.stl by MakeALot to avoid scaffolding needs. Other files remain unchanged from the original design. Two modifications were made to the main body: it now has a flat back, enabling print without scaffolding or raft but losing some detail; and a wedge was added under the door head for easy printing. I successfully printed this using 1.75mm PLA without any issues or additional supports. To use, download, print, and assemble just like MakeALot's design. Consider letting doors cool before inserting into the main body to ensure a snug fit; you may need to sand door nubs for a perfect match.
