The magnets cited by the original creator can be difficult to work with as well as add up in cost. My remix cuts magnet costs in half AND takes the stress off putting the magnets in the correct orientation AND saves time inserting the stoppers (because I removed them completely). HOW IT WORKS: the remix created enough space for the magnets to SPIN to whatever orientation matches the magnet they are connecting to. Once the pieces are in, simply glue the resource/ocean/etc. hex onto the base and the magnets will not come out. *Because it can spin, the connection is actually stronger because it's not side to side, but end to end. I also decided to use 3x5mm rather than 3x6mm since they are half the cost (only $10 for 100 magnets).
