It will increase friction and make opening bottles easier and smoother. I designed this bottle opener using 3D design software. As soon as I heard about the contest, I started brainstorming ideas but couldn't come up with anything great. Even after looking at things on Thingiverse for inspiration, my mind was blank. Then, my dad suggested that I call my aunt, because she had a lot of experience working with people who needed extra help and still does. With my aunt's input, we came up with the idea for the bottle opener that you can see in this design. It took me three attempts to get the opener just right, four to create good handles, and three to perfect the stand.
