Easel Phone Stand
thingiverse
I'm aware of another phone stand, yet one more iteration of this device. My friend requested a custom phone stand for his desk, which led me to revisit the original tripod design that I based my creation on. All credit goes to Broook for their work: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2829164. My friend's requirement was simple - he wanted it higher, so I modified the design accordingly. The phone is roughly 10cm up (slightly less than four inches) in the raised position. I'm aware that this design may not be the most compact for a desk, and the original might have been more visually appealing as well. However, if you need extra height, adding a small amount of double-sided transparent sticky tape will ensure the phone stays put. This design is still an easel at heart :-P. I'd like to extend my gratitude to Broook for their awesomely simple design. I merely added some length to the feet and flipped the rear leg 180° to make it easier to print on my Ender 3's bed. I also created a 0.4mm cutout in that leg so it detaches easily. I'm considering making this customizable to learn how to create parametric designs on Fusion, allowing users to select their desired phone height. However, this may take some time, and if anyone is particularly interested, please leave a comment and I'll look into it sooner.
