if g1 toy scorponok is where your nostalgia hits, the fantastic earthrise version is lacking something - his chrome tower parts! they replace the original panels and plug in securely on the legs robot mode, and help balance his top heavy design a little. use the original panels on the shield full time! they plug in less securely in scorpion mode and imply some sweet scorpion mesosoma anatomical shapes! they plug into the claws on the base mode, because that's also a thing! i recommend printing the upper parts vertically, and the lower parts upside-down with supports. i used esun silk pla+ for a lovely finish my scorponok is also pictured wielding the wonderful S.C.O.R.P System g1 style gun which can be found here - https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/s-c-o-r-p-system-regular-release
