Earth Topology + Bathymetry

Earth Topology + Bathymetry

thingiverse

This model combines data from NASA's Visible Earth, using two key sources: - Topography: NASA Visible Earth: Topography - Bathymetry: NASA Visible Earth: Bathymetry The lowest point, Challenger Deep, is 10,994 meters below sea level, and the highest point, Mount Everest, is 8,848 meters above sea level. To create balance, these two points are scaled to be equidistant from sea level. This model was generated with Image to Lithophane, but limited resources were used. If you can produce a higher resolution model, please remix it or share your creation with me. Thanks for checking out this project! Let's see what amazing 3D prints we can make together.
