This exercise is part of the 30-activity series developed during the E3D+VET program, an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at immersing VET centers in 3D printing technology. The program's website is https://www.e3dplusvet.eu/. The model has two distinct sides: one side features a spherical shape, designed to convey the concept of Earth viewed from above without any details such as seas or grounds. This simplicity allows students to focus on the layered structure of the planet without visual distractions. In contrast, the other side is more crucial for completing this exercise and showcases the layered structure of the planet in clear detail. The layers do not require different colors but should be slightly raised to give students an idea of where each layer begins. It's recommended that the radius or distance from the center be considered to accurately represent real dimensions. An indicative radius will suffice as long as it's clear which layer is larger than others.
