A 3D model of Earth I crafted from a distorted plane, which proved troublesome when I applied textures to the UV sphere at the poles. Material settings in Blender posed some challenges, particularly with the clouds failing to appear as expected. To fully appreciate the outcome, I invite you to take a look at the accompanying Blender file.
